Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #136

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We are having a very wet start to our week. We had so much rain here yesterday.  Trevor actually had to drain our pool a bit so it didn't overflow.  They are calling for even more rain for the rest of the week.  Hopefully by the time the long weekend rolls around the weather improves!

We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of the fabulous Amy O'Neill!  She sure has created a fun sketch for us!

I realize now that I forgot to add the button to my card.  Actually....I tried to add a mini butterfly with some bling but it just didn't look right so I decided to forego the addition!

I decided to use the retiring Secret Garden stamp set and dies. I will really miss this set.  I do love flowers and love them even more when they have coordinating dies!  I'm a big fan of the look of basic grey and yellow (in this case Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry) together.  Unfortunately the basic grey looks a little "blackish" in this picture!  I embossed the "hello" in silver embossing powder to add a bit of shine to the card!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Whisper White, Crushed Curry
DSP: Brights DSP Stack
Stamps: Secret Garden, Banner Blast
Ink: Crushed Curry, Versamark
Other: Basic Rhinestones, Secret Garden Framelits, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Please make your next stop the Freshly Made Sketches blog so you can check out the amazing cards the design team has created for you!

Have a fabulous week!

Jen

  3. Simply beautiful, Jen! I always admire how you can just leave all of that gorgeous white space alone and not feel the need to fill it with something. It gives such a clean and fresh look, and really lets your focal image shine. Love what you've done with the sketch!
